RE: Nominated candidates for a Volunteer Wiki Admin position

I will contact you as asked on the forums. My username is also chrisward on there. -- Chris Ward 16:31, 31 January 2011 (MST)

Awesome, thanks for following the procedure appropriately and promptly. I can tell you have some experience with wikis. Welcome aboard! -- EvilSeph 17:58, 31 January 2011 (MST)
Thanks, I used to run a wiki for the fun of it. May I recommend that you send emails to the users on the list through the Special:EmailUser page, or posting it on their talk pages? Chris Ward 18:01, 31 January 2011 (MST)
Can I also have a link to Special:EmailUser/chrisward instead of the link to the forums, as I do not use the forums that much -- Chris Ward - BukkitWiki Volunteer Admin 04:38, 4 February 2011 (EST)
If they aren't watching the recent changes - they aren't right for the position. I think I gave them enough time, though feel free to state otherwise and I'll reconsider. I don't really want people to rely on the wiki for communication, as if there is an issue having the means of communication on the problematic system is a bit silly. You can include the EmailUser link as well, if you want. -- EvilSeph 13:45, 4 February 2011 (EST)

Volunteer Administrator Application - RightLegRed

I'd like to apply for this position. I applied a while ago. I trust you know me already RightLegRed 16:11, 1 March 2011 (EST)

Apologies for the misformatting. I was under the impression that we'd all use that one title. RightLegRed

Volunteer Admin Application for resba

If nobody would mind, I would like to apply for this position. I'll be contacting you on the forums after this, my username is resba on the forums as well. -- resba 20:07, 1 May 2011 (EST)

Applying for BukkitWiki admin

I'd like to apply for admin status on this wiki. My username on the forums, with which I'll be contacting EvilSeph, is also oxguy3. Thanks! -oxguy3

I do reccomend oxguy3 for an admin position. He's shown considerable knowledge of wiki management as well as contributions to the wiki as a whole. He'd make a great addition. resba - BukkitWiki Admin 21:28, 11 August 2011 (EST)
As much as i'm sure he'd make a great addition to the staff I believe there are already enough administrators to handle this wiki for the moment, there has been next to no graffiti or spam recently and everything that needs fixing can really be done so without administrator permissions. -Verox 10:41, 11 September 2011 (EST)

Perhaps they weren't watching for changes by you, but maybe an email/forum message and a couple more days should be good. The EmailUser link seems to work fine, having tested it (sending myself an email, sending another user an email, recieving etc.). I have also subscribed to an RSS feed of the recent changes, so that I always get a message when a change has been made, so that I can look and see if it needs any work, not much so far, but it has definitely been useful. I would only rather use the EmailUser link as I do not use the forums that much (as I said before) but if you'd rather have forum links it can stay as it too sends me an email. -- Chris Ward - BukkitWiki Volunteer Admin 16:55, 4 February 2011 (EST)
